Are you planning to visit Canada?
Then you will require the following:

  • A travel document or passport
  • Enough money to cover your visit
  • Good health
  • A Temporary Resident Visa. This will depends on your Country of Residence.

You will also need to convince the immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit. You will have to show proof that you have ties to your home country such as a job or business, a family or home.

In certain situations you will require:

  • A medical examination
  • A letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada

Why are some people not allowed to come to Canada?

You will not be allowed to come to Canada if you are:

  • Involved in criminal activities
  • Involved in Human Rights violations
  • Involved in organized crimes
  • A security risk to Canada
You can also be barred from coming to Canada due to health or financial reasons.
